Laura K. Woods, FNP-S was born and raised in Lafayette. Laura practices along side Dr. Maria Doucet, at the Louisiana ENT Specialists Lafayette location.

Laura received her bachelors degree from UL at Lafayette in 2014, where she became a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society. After completion of her bachelors degree, she decided to pursue her Master in Nursing and completed in 2018.

Laura Woods Biography

Committed to the community involvement, Laura actively participates in charity events and sponsorship’s throughout Lafayette. She has served on the Board of Directors for Maddies’s Footprints, a local non-profit that supports families through the loss of a child from miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. Along with Board Member, Laura was a member of committee for Maddie’s Footprints Annual Taste of Town gala, Team leader for Maddie’s Footprints Annual 5k, and Founder of monthly mentorship for mothers who have experienced a loss.

Laura joined Louisiana ENT Specialists in June of 2018.

Education:

Laura K. Woods earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society. She continued her education by completing her Master of Nursing in 2018, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
